Stormy Island Mornings

From waterfalls to rainbows, the past week of breezy island mornings have been beautiful.

I live at the base of the Jurassic-Park-like koolaus, so good views are the norm. But during the lovely fall months, the season’s heavy rains send spiderwebs of waterfalls down the face of the mountains .

Even better, the tradewinds often clear the storm clouds up and away from the whispy peaks – so the clouds either sit on top like a ghostly fog or make way for a rainbow.

Here’s a few snapshots from the last week or so. Enjoy a little glimpse of a more stormy island paradise 🙂
