Aloha, folks! I apologize for my long absence from posting – in the past few months I moved, traveled to California for Christmas, and am finally settling into my new place (plus, we finally got internet!) I’m back on the scene with my favorite weekly post of all – Travel Tuesday.

It’s a new year, and this blog is up for some new excitement – but today’s post is undoubtedly here to stay. Travel is a beautiful, tangible experience that shapes your mind, spirit and soul. Every trip is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Every day holds the promise of wonder, discovery, and beauty. I truly wish that everyone in this world had the opportunity to travel – I believe it would make it a much better place.

Anyway, here’s a few snapshots from Phnom Penh, Cambodia, the Southeast Asian country’s bustling capital. It’s framed by a wide, winding river and riddled with museums, eateries, bars, and clubs, ranging from first-world franchises to local mom-and-pop’s. My favorite part of the city is the palaces, particularly the Royal Palace, which houses the nation’s current king, and pays tribute to the loss of his predecessor.

Enjoy – and look forward to hearing from me much more throughout this new year!

Love,
Nikki
