Aloha Friday: Stormy Island Days

Happy Aloha Friday folks! Today is a great day – not only is it the end of the work week, but it’s the beginning of some badassness.

The waves are coming. The weather’s clearing up. And the Hawaii we all know and love is finally peeking out from behind this lame two month long storm.

I can’t WAIT to surf and actually rock a bikini, get a tan, and chill on the beach afterwards. Instead of freezing, getting blasted by torrents of sideways rain, and praying not to get eaten by a shark.

Anyways, I thought is welcome the warm weather with a little tribute to the stormy, cold, cloudy days and weeks and months that will (hopefully) be behind us.

These pics are from the Pali Lookout, which usually has a gorgeous view of Kaneohe bay. But the fog was so thick you couldn’t see anything. It was so creepy I felt like a T-Rex was going to emerge from the mist any second.

So, cheers to good waves, a beautiful weekend, and a little well-deserved beach time.

And, of course, a rainbow on the dive there (: who doesn’t love a rainbow?
