Happy Aloha Friday! I’m sooo stoked the weekend is finally here 🙂 whewww.

My good friend took me to AD’s, a sweet little spot on the east side of the island. It’s a bit of a walk onto an adorable little cove, and then up and around the lava rock ridge. The rock wall hooks around the mountain and little bay, giving you a crescent-moon view of the eastern side. Glittering water riddled with rocks, a flawless horizon, the Hawaii Kai mountains with the sun settling gently behind them. It’s freaking gorgeous.

My favorite part is jumping off the planks shoved into the rocks and into the cove. On a hot, perfect day, you can settle into the rocks to tan and then jump in to cool off. I’m pretty sure that’s as close to heaven as it gets.
