SMALL KINE HIPPIE

Happy Thursday everyone! I have some exciting news – Empress Niwi has officially changed to The Small Kine Hippie!

Sooo….why the name change?

I truly do love my nickname, Empress Niwi – but I needed a name that better reflected who I am, how I live, and what this lovely little blog is all about. The Small Kine Hippie clicked after my mother-in-law, who’s staying with us, commented on how my fiance and I live. From his small kine afro to my fridge full of fresh fruits and veggies to the laid-back, no-stress life we live.

We do our best to lessen the footprint we leave on the environment  – up cycling, buying used items, and fixing what we already have. These are all things I’ve been wanting to write about, too, but haven’t had the time.

And while a lot of my blog is about health and fitness, it’s from an inward to outward perspective; that is, cleaning up our lifestyles and attitudes from the inside out in order to see wonderful, life-long changes in how we look and feel.

I’m nervous about the change, but I know it will all work out for the best 🙂 

What do you guys think?? I haven’t swapped up names ever before, so this is all new to me.
